Maryann L. Groff

Maryann L. Groff, age 74 of Lancaster, died December 3rd, 2022 at Mount Carmel East.  She was born to the late Gene and Helen Blaine in Brooklyn, NY on January 22, 1948.  She was a 1966 LHS graduate who attended OU.  She enjoyed doing art and she was an amazing cook.  She retired from the Fairfield County Sherriff’s Department.  Maryann loved boating up at Buckeye Lake and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Her love for life and amazing personality will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Groff; son, Brandi Groff; grandchildren, Gage and Mia Groff; sister, Bonnie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a brother.

Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.  A memorial service will take place at the Frank E.
