Michael E. Hoisington

Michael E. Hoisington, 77 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at the Ohio Health Hospice House. He was born to the late Edward L. and Ruth J. Hoisington.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy. He was a retired supervisor for Western-Electric, Lucent, AT & T and finally becoming Nokia with 34 years of service. Michael also worked for the DSCC in Columbus.

Michael was a member of the American Legion Post #11 and enjoyed watching his Cleveland Guardian Baseball team.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lana; son, Jon Hoisington; daughter, Lisa Baylor; brother, Dana (Glenna) Hoisington; several nieces, nephews and his feline companions.

Besides being preceded in death by his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Hoisington.
