Michael Wayne Johnson

Michael Wayne Johnson, 61, of Lancaster, passed away on December 19. 2023 at his residence. He was born to the late George and Patsy Chambers on November 28, 1962.

Michael was bubbly, loud, and was loved by everyone. He never knew a stranger, and could talk to anyone like he knew them for years. He enjoyed music and lived by the statement: “anyone can be a dad, but it takes a real man to be a father”.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Hunter; biological grandson, Jaden Michael-Elieser Hunter; sister, Anita (Mickal) Pennington; step-children, Holly Longnecker, Tiara (James) Kramer, and Charles (Kyla Bosserman) Longnecker; several grandchildren; nephew, Sheridan (Jessica) Davis; and niece, Chasstin (Snoop) Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Mary and Bill Johnson; and friend, Stella.

Memorial visitation will take place on January 3, 2024 from 5-7 PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Caring Cremation® has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
