Mindora L. Fairchild

Mindora L. Fairchild 82 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 11, 1943 in Wellston, Ohio, to the late Ross and Peggy McDaniel.

She had worked for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. in the payroll department and later at the Defense Supply Center Columbus.

Mindora enjoyed crocheting, needle point, gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her son, William Fairchild, Jr. of Lancaster; daughter, Stephanie Kelley of Ohio; grandchildren, Curtis Davis and Aaron Davis both of Newark; sisters, Elizabeth Richmond and Judy Elliott both of Defiance; brothers, Sam (Connie) McDaniel of Celina and Rusty (Betsy) McDaniel of Wellston; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, David (Becky) Fairchild of Lancaster and Patricia Fairchild of Lancaster; nephew and nieces, Chris Fairchild, Judy Kness, Jackie Brewer and Jody McConnaughay.

Mindora was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William “Bill” Fairchild, Sr., parents, niece, Stacy Fairchild and brother-in-law, Jack Fairchild.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Kevin Chambers officiating. Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO.
