Myron "Frank" Peterson

Myron “Frank” Peterson, 91, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Springs at Wyandot Trail in Lancaster. Frank was born to the late Myron Arthur and Mildred (Morris) Peterson on June 1, 1934, in Marietta, Ohio.

Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked for the United States Government for over 30 years working as a communications specialist. He enjoyed farming and doing repair work on the rental properties he owned.

Frank is survived by his children, Malcolm Peterson, Timothy (Donald Bodmer) Peterson, Jeffrey (Sheri) Peterson, Pamela Walton, Douglas (Denise) Peterson, and Virginia Peterson; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 stepchildren, Dean (Mendi) Rarey and Sonya (John) Stasko; cousins, Michelle Hodgkin and Rick Paige, and sister-in-law, Esther Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Mildred; his first wife, Gracie Peterson; and his second wife, Mildred Jackson-Peterson.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 am with Rev. Rob Peterson officiating, at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 405 N. Columbus Street, Lancaster, OH. Friends and family may visit on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the service at Poplar Fork Cemetery in Licking County.
