Trish Barr, age 73, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at her son’s home in Baltimore, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 26, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, Trish lived a life dedicated to the joy and well-being of those she cherished most.
Trish was a homemaker, and she proudly considered it the best job in the world. It was within her nurturing embrace that her children, Bruce and Philip Livingston, Donna (Rick) Ellas and Michelle (Donald) Johnson, flurrished and were ever supported by their mother’s unwavering love and guidance. Her proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her loving family, a testament to her selfless commitment and devotion to them.
Her laughter and spirit lit up every room. Trish was cherished not just by her family, but also by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had an open heart and never met a stranger, welcoming everyone with her fun-loving nature, beautiful smile, and great personality.
Trish’s love extended to her grandchildren, Leslie (Jimmy) Hoekstra, Danielle (Mark) Cox, Megan Jones, Ashley (Jake) Huskins, Jessica (Stephen) Hostetter, Austin Livingston, and Alexis (Josh) Palmer. Each grandchild, along with her 19 great-grandchildren, held a special place in her heart, as they were a source of immense joy and pride for her.
She is also survived by her cherished sisters, Vickie Neff, Connie Clifford, and Vickie (Scott) Conkle, her nephews, Steven and Michael Neff and Her loyal fish companion, Oscar the Angelfish. They all too shared in the warmth of her loving nature and will forever be remembered of her love for life.
Trish is preceded in death by her dear grandson, Nick Ellas, and her parents, Wellington and Shirley Vaughn Clifford. The memories live on in the hearts of her family, as they fondly recall the love and laughter of everyone.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Trish Barr will take place this Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, Ohio. 207 S. Main St., officiated by her son-in-law, Mayor Rick Ellas. This gathering will serve as a reminder of the vibrant spirit she embodied and the deep love she inspired in all of us.
