Patricia E. Evans

Patricia E. Evans, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on April 1, 2024 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born to the late Norman and Dollie Marie (Montgomery) Burton on July 30, 1945 in Lucasville, OH.

Patricia worked for 25 years as an STNA at Crestview Rehab Center. She loved her family, especially her fur babies and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Marcia) Evans, Shelley Stemm, and Mel (Manny) Ponce; grandchildren, Austin Evans, Xavia and Sabrina Ponce, Chris and Zach Fox, and Caleb, Gabriel, Benjamin, David, Elijah, Zion, and Victoria Stemm; great grandchildren, Evie, Owen, and Scarlette; and siblings, Sue, Connie, and David Burton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Evans; brothers, Ken, Jerry, Robert, and Walter Burton; sister, Rosemary Strickland, and Juanita and Norma Jean Burton.

A funeral service conducted by Patricia’s son, Joseph, will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 12 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service on Thursday.
