Patricia "Pat" L. Ketchum Miller

Patricia “Pat” L. Ketchum Miller, Lancaster, Ohio formerly of Millersport, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born on July 21, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio, to late Clarence and Thelma (Blake) Haas in Toledo. She graduated from Woodward High School, where she went to school with Jamie Farr from “Mash.”

She is survived by daughters, Bonnie (Lee) Runyon, Teresa (Rod) Sandy, T. J. (Shane) Wise, and son Donn (Jodi) Ketchum; seven grandchildren, Nik (Eileen) McClellan, Tiffany (Cory) Brown, Blake (Kaylina) Runyon, Travis Todd, Shayna Wise, Lydia Wise, Bethany (Mark) Swanson; eight dear great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a good friend, Gail Barber.

She was preceded in death by husbands Sam E. Ketchum of 47 years and Robert N. Miller of 6 years, parents, sister, Nancy Bell and brother-in-law, Richard Bell.

Pat started working at the age of 13 at thirty-five cents an hour at a drug store near her home. She worked there until she was twenty-years old. She then worked for the United States Air Force Base nursery for three years. She and her husband Sam had a sanitation business for 20 years and then sold it.

She retired from 3M Baltimore, Ohio, and after retiring she enrolled in the career center and took classes in computer accounting. Pat also worked for REI Painting, Hometown Hot Dogs, and Hoskinson Funeral Home.

Pat was a member of Millersport Methodist Church, Tuesday morning bible study group, Methodist Women, Twig 13, Fairfield Beach Seniors & Millersport Seniors. Pat loved sewing, crafts, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO.
