Paul David "Pete" Schorr

Paul David “Pete” Schorr 57 of Bremen, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his residence.

He was a welder and worked at Colonial Wagon and Wheel #2. Pete was the former mayor of West Rushville and a mechanic.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his son.

Pete is survived by his son, David Schorr of Rushville, Ohio; daughter, Mericka Schorr of Lancaster, Ohio; step-children, Patrick (Athena) McCashen of Lancaster, Ohio and Jessica (Alex) Lee of Bremen, Ohio; grandchildren and step grandchildren; brothers, Chuck Schorr of Rushville, Ohio and Jeff (Valinda) Schorr of Baltimore, Ohio; sisters, Rhonda (Jim) Lewis of Logan, Ohio, Dianna (Butch) Hoffman of Amanda, Ohio and Cheryl (Doug) Byers of Lake City, Florida; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Brian Miller of Logan, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Joyce Schorr.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Knollwood Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio with Rev. Linda Ward officiating.  Friends may visit 10-12:30 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. In accordance with state mandates, COVID protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed.
