Penny L. (Blackburn) Schrader

Lancaster

Penny L. (Blackburn) Schrader 68 of Lancaster, Ohio formerly of Logan, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center.  She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 25, 1953 to Dewey E. and the late Georgia Ruth Blackburn.

She was a secretary for AEP, Lancaster High School and then retired from the State of Ohio as a computer programmer. Penny was a member of Fairfield Christian Church and a life member of the NRA.

Penny is survived by her son, Stephen P. (Destiny) Ogg of Logan, Ohio; grandchild, Leo E. Ogg; father, Dewey E. Blackburn of Sun City Center, Florida; sister, Peggy Lou Cartmill of Trenton, Florida; brother, Wray E. Blackburn of Louisville, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Steve Snider of Logan, Ohio, step-children, Amy Schrader, David Ogg and Theresa Ogg all of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Schrader, mother, Georgia Ruth Blackburn and sister-in-law, Lucinda Snider.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Fairfield Christian Church with Pastor Mark Barbee officiating.  Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO.  Friends may visit Friday from 4-8 p.m. using Door H on the Whittier Avenue side of the church.

Memorial gifts may be given to Fairfield Christian Church Mission Fund, 1965 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
