Richard L. Scheidegger 78 of Pataskala, Ohio died Friday, March 2, 2012 at his residence.
He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Army. He was a lifelong farmer and worked for the Construction Union. He was an avid gardener and loved to raise livestock.
He is survived by his two nephews, close friends, neighbors and his canine companion, Sammy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Scheidegger and brother, Bill Scheidegger.
A graveside service was held at Union Evangelical Cemetery with the Baltimore VFW Post 3761 conducting military rites at the cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, BALTIMORE, OHIO.
