Richard "Rick" Phillips, Jr.

Richard “Rick” Phillips, Jr. 62 of Thornville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center.

He was a commercial carpenter for Bent Tree Construction.  He loved the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Browns and watching NASCAR.  He was a Penn State College football fan.

Rick is survived by his lifelong companion, Peggy Murphy; sons,  Matt Phillips and Mark Phillips; daughter, Nichole Walters; several grandchildren; father, Richard “Dick” Phillips, Sr.; brother, Eric Phillips; sisters, Cathy Phillips and Melinda Phillips; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ardith Hensley Phillips, grandparents, and aunts and uncles.

Caring Cremation® is being handled by the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105. Per his wished no services are going to be observed.
