Robert "Bob" Banker

Lancaster - Robert “Bob” Banker, 86, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2023.

Bob was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had a soft spot for rescue animals.

He is survived by his wife Sheena Banker; son Robert (Erin Newell) Banker II; grandson Brock Banker; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Francis Banker; brother James “Bud” Banker; and granny Layne.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130, officiated by pastor Roy Maple at 11:00 AM. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Caring Cremation® has already taken place.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Fairfield Area Humane Society, 1721 Granville Pike, Lancaster, OH 43130.
