Robert N. "Bob" Roberts

Robert N. “Bob” Roberts, 79, of Lancaster, died on August 26, 2022 at Buckeye Care and Rehab. He was born in San Antonio, TX on January 28, 1943.

Bob grew up in Texas, Indiana, and Germany. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He was a Captain in the US Army and served two years in Germany. Bob was hired by Anchor Hocking in 1971, and also worked at Arrow Molded Plastics and One Write Co. He loved his family, enjoyed playing tennis and chess; and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and especially the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandy (Schaefer) Roberts; daughters, Heather (John) Brunjes and Aimee Munyon; grandchildren, Hannah Tatman, Hayden Tatman, Azlyn Munyon and Cambria Munyon; nieces and nephews, Grayson Roberts, Joe Lucas, and Rachel Lucas; and sister-in-law, Judy (OK) Schurtz.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Walter Grady Yarbrough Jr., and Bob and Marceline Roberts; sister, Chris Glynn grandson, QuinnIan Munyon and sister-and-brother-in-law, Don and Diane Hillyard.

Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. His family will have a private celebration of life.
