Rodney Grayson, Sr

Rodney A. Grayson Sr., age 47 of Lancaster, formerly of Baltimore, OH died January 5th, 2016 at the Four Season nursing facility in Washington Court House. Rodney enjoyed football, Dungeons and Dragons, video games, playing cards, working at Cedar Heights Elementary and adored kids. Rodney was an amazing and funny person who loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed.

Rodney was survived by his wife, Heather A. Grayson; sons, Rodney A. Grayson, Jr. and Dakota R. Grayson; sisters, Becky (Monty Nugen) Reshan and Cheryl (Tina Smith) Grayson; brothers, John (Connie) Grayson and Mike Grayson; father, John Grayson; grandfather, Donald Budnick; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dianna “Kathy” Grayson; biological father, Rodney Crow; and grandmother, Doris Hendrickson.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday the 9th, at 10:30PM, at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130, officiated by Pastor Jane Ellen Hablitzel. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Baltimore, OH. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home in Lancaster.
