Ronal Bob Wright, 86, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, leaving behind a loving family and a lifetime of memories to cherish.
Ronal was born on October 8, 1939, in Indiana to Robert and Vondola Wright. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later retired from the United States Air Force. His dedication and service to his country were an important part of his life and legacy. During his years of service, Ronal spent time overseas and often shared many stories of his military travels, which reflected both his experiences and his appreciation for the life he was able to live while serving.
Ronal was known for his witty personality, his sharp intelligence, and his ability to keep up with today’s modern technology. He had a curious mind and a quick sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.
Ronal found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed baseball, gardening, birdwatching, hunting, and reading. He was also an excellent pie maker, especially known for his pecan pies and homemade jams, which were cherished by family and friends.
Ronal was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Vondola Wright, and his son, Robert Wright.
He is survived by his children, Ronal (Tracy) Wright and Vonna Wright (Michael Jones); his grandchildren, Chase (Kylee) Wright, Allie (Forrest) Longstreth, Abbie (Christian) Tarrant, Vivienne Jones, and his great-grandchildren, Hudson, Cooper, Lillian, Casen, Malialosa, Sophia, and Adeline.
Ronal will be remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and the many interests that brought him happiness throughout his life. His memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to CareTenders for the compassionate care and support they provided to Ronal over the years.
Ronal will be deeply missed and forever loved.
