Ronald L. Thompson

Ronald L. Thompson, of Lancaster, passed away on December 7, 2022 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Harley and Alice Margaret Thompson on July 20, 1938.

Ron enjoyed singing gospel music, wood carving, and was a proud Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Thompson; children, Steven (Donna) Thompson, Michael (Laura) Thompson, and Jason (Angela) Thompson; grandchildren, Andrea (John), Michelle (Sean Paul), Alison (Greg), Dylan (Tiffany), Joel (Stephanie), Harley, Jason Jr., Michaela, and M.J.; great grandchildren, Braylee, Briar, Payton, Hiram, and Colton; brothers, David (Deloris) Thompson and Jim (Vi) Thompson; sister, Ellen Sanders; niece, Aleta; and many more nieces, nephews, and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 1 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Interment will take place in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit on Monday at the funeral home from 2-4 PM and again from 6-8 PM.
