Roy A. Stoneburner, 61, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at his home. He was born to the late Curtis Stoneburner and Bonnie Hartley on October 2, 1964.
Roy enjoyed classic cars owning 5 Camero’s throughout his life. His love of sports was shown through his dedication to OSU, the Reds, Columbus Blue Jackets and the Columbus Crew-watching many of their games in his well decorated “sports room”. He had many hobbies including bowling, fishing, playing D&D, golfing, and watching one of his favorite shows: Game of Thrones.
He is survived by his partner of 40 years, Nancy Miller; niece, Heather Chaney; great nieces and nephew, Allison Monsour, Karmaleigh Chaney and Dillon Chaney; great great nephew and niece, Amiri Chaney and Paisley Cooper; and four-legged companion, Brutus.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carla Jean Monsour; stepfather, Arthur Hartley; nephew, Joseph Monsour; mother, Bonnie Hartley; and beloved dog, Doobie.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 5:30 PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may visit from 3:30 PM until the time of the service.
