Ruth Shields

Ruth L. Shields, 95, of Baltimore, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011, at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. Ruth was born August 14, 1915, in Pickerington, Ohio to the late Fred and Bertha (England) Moore.

Ruth was a member of the Pickerington Rebekah Lodge and the Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Pickerington.

Ruth is survived by her son, Walter K. (Judianne) Shields; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Gertrude Stiles.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Shields; son, Larry Shields; and brother, Walter Moore.

Caring Cremation has taken place with the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore. Burial of her cremains to take place in Violet Cemetery, Pickerington.
