Ruth E. Underwood, age 66, of Lancaster, was reunited with both the Lord and her husband suddenly, Friday October 12th, 2012 at OSU Medical Center. She was born in Vinton Co. on November, 10th, 1945 to William and Verna Estep. She was a member of The Church of Good Hope. She retired from Fairfield Union as a Transportation Aid and became a fulltime grandmother, babysitting and loving her family.
  
  She is survived by her daughters, Christina (Travis) Wildermuth and Anna (Nathan) Duncan all of Lancaster ; grandbabies, Carter Wildermuth and Ethan Duncan; brothers, John (Edna) Estep of Chilicothe, Richard (Joyce) Estep of Bremen; sisters, Talitha (Delbert) Nichols of Sugar Grove, Georgia (Paul) Huffer of Kingston, Martha Remy of Ray, Norma (Lowell) Shaw of IN, Mildred (Jim) Pickell of Millfield; and several nieces and nephews who she cherished dearly.
  
  She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Albert Underwood; sister, Emma Nichols; brother, Lilbrin Estep, and her parents, William and Verna Estep.
  
  A service will take place at The Church of Good Hope on Thursday at 1:30PM officiated by Pastor Scott Miller and Ron Miller. Burial will follow the service at Basil Memorial Cemetery, Baltimore.
