Sherie Louise Leohner passed away on October 25, 2026, at the Springs at Wyandot Trail. She was born March 20, 1940, in Thornville, Ohio, to the late Rev. Robert and Mable Louise (Gettys) Swinehart.

Sherie graduated from Lancaster High School and was a member of the Christian Women’s Club.

Sherie is survived by her children, Gia, Adam, and Bart; grandchildren, Rieko, Tara, Joshua, Brandon, Aaron, Austin, Derek, Justin, and Ryann; great-grandchildren, Dylann and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Leohner; parents, Robert and Mabel; and children, Brett and Michele Leohner.

Per Sherie’s wishes, Caring Cremation® through Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service for Sherie will be held at a later date.
