Sherry L. Root, 82 of Thurston, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Pickering House. She was born on June 27, 1943 to the Hamilton and Olivia Jackson.
She had a good work ethic and cleaned many houses in her career.
Sherry is survived y her children, Bob George of Lancaster, Ohio, Kenny (Bobbi) George of Baltimore, Ohio, Shane (fiancée Brenda) Copeland of Thurston, Ohio and Sherry Smart of Lancaster, Ohio; step-children, Tim Root and Larry root both of Thurston, Ohio; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Root and brothers and sisters.
