Shirley Ann Brogan, 87 of Pickerington, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Violet Springs Health Campus, Pickerington, Ohio.

She was born in Canton, Ohio on December 9, 1936, to the late Michael and Concetta (Connie) Santora. She was a 1954 graduate of Timken High School, Canton, Ohio. She was a former realtor in Canton, and once relocated to Columbus, she worked as receptionist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil E. Brogan of 63 years and her sister Elaine Santora.

Surviving are her three daughters, Sherri (Diana Ansel) Brogan, Deanna (Sam) Pegg, and Kelly (Ryan) Daugherty. Four grandchildren, Elaina (Danny) Thorla, Blake (Brittany Green) Allen, Erica (Trae) Myers, and Vinnie Allen. Five great-grandchildren Hayden Myers, Palmer Thorla, Haylee Myers, and twins, Ellery and Hunter Allen.

There will be no visitation.

The family would like to thank Violet Springs Health Pickerington Campus staff for the compassionate care our mother received.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank E. Smith Funeral Home in Lancaster, Ohio.

There will be a combined celebration of life on May 11th from 3-7 at the American Legion Post 283, 7725 Refugee Rd. Pickerington, Ohio in remembrance of our mother, Shirley Brogan, and Wilma Arnett, Ryan’s grandmother.

We hope mom is free from pain and eternally shopping. We miss her dearly.
