Stephen “Mike” Edgington, 69, of Lancaster, passed away on December 31, 2025 at his residence. He was born to the late James and Frances Edgington on June 14, 1956.

Mike enjoyed rebuilding cars and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Edgington; children, Michael (Allie Russell) Edgington and Bethany (David Hallmon) Edgington; grandchildren, Olivia and Parker Edgington, Owen and Hazel Hallmon, and Carson Leonard; siblings, Daniel F. (Robin) Edgington and Fay F. (Bill) Knowlton; and best friend, Mark North.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hal, Shawn, James, David and Bobby Gene Edgington; and his parents.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 1 PM in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of services on Wednesday. Caring Cremation® will follow.
