Susan "Susie" Bickham

Susan “Susie” Bickham died on February 10, 2022.

From the time she and her husband, Bill, were married, Susie knew it was her calling to be a mother and a stay-at-home mom. Fulfilling that purpose was what gave meaning to her life, and she focused her energy on being a wonderful wife, a devoted mother and later, a caring and content grandmother. Those who knew her well will tell you that she lived a life filled with meaning, happiness, and a clarity of purpose that few realize.

After raising her children and before there were grandchildren to love, Susie spent some years working outside the home. Even though she got a late start, she was successful in the world of business, where she became the Office Manager for the International Division of Anchor Hocking.  She also spent several years as a member of the united Way Board of Review and as a Lancaster School System volunteer that helped students improve their reading skills.

Susie was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Mary Keegan, a sister, Mary Francis, and a brother, John.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Bill, her children, John (Tracy), David (Lynne Fasone), Laura (Steve Radcliff) , and Steven, grandchildren, Taylor Bickham, Sarah Radcliff, Molly Radcliff, Caryn Radcliff, and Grant Bickham, a brother, Jim (Bonnie) Keegan and Many nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be given to Fairhope Hospice & Palliative Care, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation, 401 N. Ewing St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.

Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Mary Cemetery.
