Tim Huey

Timothy Alan Huey, known affectionately as Tim, passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 58 in Lancaster, Ohio. Born on July 13, 1967, in Newark, Ohio, Tim grew up in a close-knit family and attended Millersport High School.

Tim was a beacon of authenticity and friendliness, known for his straightforwardness and gregarious nature. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel like a friend and was always ready with a supportive word or a candid take on life's situations.

An avid sports enthusiast, Tim's passions included cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and watching WWE wrestling. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were ways through which he connected with friends and family, creating lasting memories during game nights and matches.

Tim's family was central to his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Huey; his brothers, Jim (Robin) Huey and Jeff (Gretchen) Huey; his sister, Kim LaCroix; his sons, Nick (Elaine) Ross and Wade (Amy) Roner; his step-daughter, Jennifer (Trevor) Johnson; his step-son, Michael (Shannon) Nelson; his beloved dog Gizmo, and his cherished nine grandchildren, with one more on the way. Tim was preceded in death by his brother Steve Huey, parents Mildred (Layton) Huey and Jim Huey and brother-in-law Larry LaCroix.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held after the holidays, with details to be provided later. This gathering will serve as a tribute to a man who was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
