Todd R. Powers

Todd R. Powers, 53, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Pickerington Methodist Hospital. He was born on Friday, October 15, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, to Richard and Jean (Booth) Powers.

Todd was a graduate of Liberty Union High School, where he participated in several sports, including football, baseball, and basketball. His love for sports didn’t stop in high school; Todd also enjoyed bowling and golfing in his adult life. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines football. He was a member of the American Legion Post 283 - Pickerington. 

Todd is survived by his parents, Jean and Richard Powers; children, Braden (Ashley) Powers, Mykaela Powers (Logan O’Brien), and Emilee (Dominick) Rowles; grandchildren, Jett Powers, Oaklee O’Brien, and Sawyer Rowles; sister, Danette (Steve) McAvoy; nieces and nephews, Lindsay Cochenour, Bryan Wolfe, Cody McAvoy, and Samantha McAvoy; special friends, Bonnie and Chad Sims, as well as several close friends from the Legion. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Beatrice Powers and Darl and Evelyn Booth. 

Per Todd’s wishes, Caring Cremation® has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 PM at the American Legion Post 283, 7725 Refugee Road, Pickerington, OH 43147, with a meal being provided.

Memorial contributions can be made in Todd’s name to the American Legion Post 283 in Pickerington.
