William H. Snair

William “Bill” H. Snair 76 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his residence.  He was born in Canton, Ohio on February 29, 1948 to the late Gilmore and Frances Snair.

Bill was a retired long distance telephone operator for Ohio Bell and later AT&T.  He was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Groveport where he helped with the bus ministry for 20 years because he loved children. Bill Ran marathons, played tennis, enjoyed watching baseball games including his favorite team the Cincinnati Reds.

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara (Michael) Crist of Hebron and Becky (Doug) Erskin of Lambertville, Michigan; eleven nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Tony Liuzzo officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home
