Betty Lucille (Wickem) Butler

Betty Butler, 84, of Pickerington passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2023.

Betty Lucille (Wickem) Butler was born June 24, 1938 in Coshocton, Ohio the daughter of the late Burt and Beatrice (Moffatt) Wickem. She married the late Tom Butler on February 1, 1957.

Betty most enjoyed being surrounded by her family, but she also enjoyed working and being outside. She loved playing with the family dog, Teddy, and watching the squirrels in the backyard. She will be greatly missed by all her family.

She is survived by her children Judy (Tony) Moore, Trina (David) Sullivan, Edella (Mike) Pierce, Tom Butler, and Bert (Leona) Butler; her grandchildren Kristen (Chris) Whitman, Lisa (Will) Matheson, Jonathan Moore, Amy (Martin) Edward, Alexander (Mikayla) Sullivan, Sarah (Ferren) Feyh, Jason Milner, Justin (Carlie) Milner, Scott (Candice) Bates, Vanessa (Chris) Shasiah, Destany (Anthony) Watkins; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother Walter Wickem; and sister Kathy Hostutler.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Tom Butler; parents Burt and Beatrice Wickem; and siblings Esther Wickem, Doris Wickem, and Harold Wickem.

Betty would have said no to an obituary, but this is really more of a tribute to a life well lived.
