Betty J. May, age 80 of Baltimore, passed away on April 15th, 2021 at the Pickering House. She was born to the late Lawrence and Virginia Brown Green in Paintsville, KY on Nov. 28, 1940. She was a 1959 South Eastern High School Graduate. She later became a beloved School Bus driver for Liberty Union Schools. Betty enjoyed quilting, reading, traveling, but most importantly she enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren! Betty's smile and amazing personality will be cherished by all.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Mellissa) May, Freddie (Angie) May, Shirley Drumm, Anna (Rick) Prickett, and Leah (Matt) Armstrong; grandchildren, Sara (Ryan) Heavner, Ben (Jaclyn) May, Jordan (Nikki) Prickett, Nick Mack, Ryan Mack, Zachary Armstrong, and Cohen May; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Frances Tucker; and brother, Edward Green.
She was preceded in death on Feb. 11, 2013 by her husband, George "Fred" May Sr.; parents, and brother, Lloyd Green.
A funeral service will take place on Monday at 10AM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jill Dunlap. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
