Bill E. Jeffrey

Bill Jeffrey age 82, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on August 2nd, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Gerald and Maxine (Conner) Jeffrey on July 11th, 1938 at Starr, Ohio. He ran his own construction and excavating business for many years in three different states. He was very adept at mechanical work from building houses to designing and building tooling and equipment.  He enjoyed gardening, yard work and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Jeffrey; daughter, Cindy (Bill) Boudouris; grandchildren, Sydney Jeffrey and Ethan Wakeman; brothers, Carl Jeffrey and Gary (Maria) Jeffrey; daughter in law, Mary Jeffrey; niece, Meredith Jeffrey; nephews, Mark Jeffrey, Steve Jeffrey, David Camp.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joan Jeffrey; son, Mike Jeffrey; sisters, Annabell Hemsworth and Evelyn Franko.

A service will take place at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home on August 6th at 1PM. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  A burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family would like to thank Fairhope Hospice staff for their tremendous care and support.
