Clara B. Greer

Clara B. Greer, age 87 of Canal Winchester passed away on May 15, 2022 at the Pickering House.  She was born to the late John H. and Agnes C. Kauffman Dowell on Feb. 22, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio.  She was an amazing mother and grandmother who retired from Winchester Farm and was a bartender at the Lancaster American Legion and The Fraternal Order of Eagles.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends helping with the grandchildren who always enjoyed her amazing cooking.  She enjoyed doing word searches and her amazing personality and love for life will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Williams, Joseph Miesse, Donnie (Billie) Miesse, Bruce (Kay) Miesse, Jim Miesse, and Erik (Kim) Greer; grandchildren, Brian, Nash, Daniel, Taylr, Shannon, Donovan, Oliver, Ethan, Max, and Klaudia; several great grandchildren; best friend, Loretta Castle and her children Rodney, Kim, and Vicky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Greer; siblings, John "Jack" Dowell, Richard Dowell, Joanne Cockrell and Jim Chapman.
The family would like to thank the wonderful work and care provided from Fairhope Hospice and the Pickering House.
A graveside service has been arranged through the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home at 12 Noon On Friday, May 20th, at Union Evangelical Cemetery on Snyder Church Rd. in Baltimore, OH with visitation from 10AM until Noon all at the cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
