Danny B. Turley Sr.

Danny B. Turley Sr, age 92, of Thurston passed away on February 11th, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. Danny was born to the late Frank and Dorothy Cooperider Turley on January 30th, 1929 in Thurston Ohio.  He was the oldest living resident who was born and raised in Thurston. Danny graduated from Thurston High School in 1947. He was a Veteran U.S. Navy SeaBee and was a member of the Baltimore VFW.  He retired from North American Rockwell where he was an electrician.  Danny was very passionate about motorcycles, you could find him riding his Harley even after turning 90 years old. Danny will be dearly missed by many friends and family.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Evelyn Turley; children, Brenda (“Herk”) Johnson, Steve (Sarah) Turley, Bruce (Deborah) Turley; grandchildren, Danny (Stacy) Johnson, Ben (Andrea) Johnson, Tina Johnson, Zach Turley, Chelsey Turley, Colt Turley, Alisha Turley, Travis (Kenlea) Turley; great grandchildren; Austin, Alex, Ali, Emmy, Emma, Bo, Lilly, Coleston, Laiken, Reagan, Finley, Harper, and Greyson.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents.

A service will take place on Wed at 10:30 AM, officiated by Clara Kwon. Family and friends may call from 3 to 7 on Tuesday at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home 207 S. Main Street Baltimore, OH 43105.
