David L. Heinzman, II

David L. Heinzman, II 33 of Rushville, Ohio passed away as the result of an auto accident on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was a graduate of Fairfield Union High School Class of 2007.

He was a service technician for Hugh White Chevrolet. David loved working on cars, playing golf, kayaking, BMX, traveling, bowling, billiards, collecting Hot Wheel Cars, and living his life fast, loud, and happy.

David is survived by his son Tanner Heinzman; longtime girlfriend and partner Brittany Hicks; mother Anne Heinzman; father David Heinzman; brother Bryce (Amber Stone) Heinzman; sister Molly (Jeremy Johnson) Heinzman; grandparents Glenn and Virginia Shaffer; aunt and uncle Kathy (Jeff) Smith and their children, aunt Carol Smith and her children; aunt Angel Mugg, along with additional aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dog, Kodah “Bubs”.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather James Heinzman and his girlfriend’s father Kevin Hicks.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
