James "Jim" L. Fischer

James “Jim” L. Fischer, age 76 of Lancaster, died June 23, 2022. He was born to the late Eldon “Bill” and Stella Newcomb Fischer on Jan. 23, 1946.  He was a successful business professional who was the past president of HCR. Later in life he became the executive administrator at Countryside Continuing Care in Fremont, OH. He was also an active member of the Masons.  Jim’s personality and his way of life will not be forgotten by anyone.

He is survived by his children, James “Ryan” (Aileen) Fischer and Rachel (Scott Kelly) Fischer; grandchildren; Elizabeth Hermes, Oswin (Whitney) Hermes, Sarah Kelly, Andrea Kelly, and Reid Fisher; great-grandchildren, Rowan Hermes and Lennon Hermes; siblings, Judy (Bob) Galbert and Kathy (Don) Slick; several nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margie Fisher.
