Kathleen "Kay" Shumaker

Kathleen “Kay” Shumaker, age 95 of Lancaster died June 4, 2021 at the Pickering House.  She was born to the late James and Gladys Harnick Follington in Port Dover, CN on Jan 2, 1926.  She worked for Rayovac and  Premix and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.  She was an amazing mother and grandmother who always went out of her way to help others, and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by grandchildren, Fred, Scott, Heather, Chad Shumaker, Brandee Cunningham, Kevin, Willie, and Jessica Shumaker; daughter-in-law, Teresa Shumaker; and numerous great-grand children and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Shumaker, sons, Wayne and Gary Shumaker; and 11 siblings.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Amanda Cemetery.  Family and friends may call from 12PM until 2PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.   Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
