Melinda Kay (Brown) Strohl

Melinda Kay (Brown) Strohl passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Fairfield County.  She was born June 16, 1955 to Russell and Mary Brown.

Melinda was a New Lexington High School and an Ohio State University graduate. She married Kevin E. Strohl on August 29, 1981. She previously worked at Anchor Hocking in Bremen, Ohio Bell, Ameritech, & AT&T. She became a realtor in 2006 and worked with Better Homes & Garden Real Estate Big Hill.  She loved helping clients find their perfect home.  She attended C3 Church in Canal Winchester.  She enjoyed reading, playing piano, music, and family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell P. and Mary C. Brown; and nieces, Jessica (Huston) Harrah and Stori (Huston) Raver.

She is survived by her daughter, Kanda Strohl; brothers and sisters, Larry (Linda) Brown, Martha (Darrell) Huston, John (Gloria) Brown, Phyllis Levy, Jenny (Mike) Jarvis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Konan Stephens will take place at 10 AM on Friday, April, 2, 2021 at Victory Hill Church, 4000 Coonpath Rd NW, Carroll, OH 43112. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Junction City. Family and friends may visit from 1-3 PM and again from 4-7 PM at the church on Thursday.
