Our Mother Phylis peacefully gained her wings on Saturday, May 13, 2023 and is reunited and rejoicing with many family and friends that have passed before her; especially Beloved husband Thomas F Gill, parents Earl and Elsie Dauterman Brothers Ralph, Robert, and James Dauterman, Sister Marjorie and Lawrence Sheets Son-in-law Al Groghan, Grandson Micah Gill.

She graduated in 1949 from Lancaster High School; Worked at Charm House of Gifts and then Drew Shoes , where she worked for many years until she retired.

Phylis believed in living a clean and healthy life. She was a woman of great faith and an inspiration to all that knew her.. She was honest, modest, humble and kind. She was a respectful daughter, loyal wife, loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was a good listener and was compassionate to those that needed advice. She sent cards to everyone and put so much thought and love into them. Phylis learned wood refinishing from her father and restored all of the oak floors and woodwork in her family home. They were beautiful.

She loved gardening, flowers, painting, cooking, baking, playing card games and skip bo. She was excellent in everything she did. But she was the very best at loving and will be missed so much.
