Robert Day Smith

Robert Day Smith 67 of Baltimore, Ohio former resident of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

He was an electrician, enjoyed playing in his pool league (billiards), fishing, the beach, camping, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jean Goeschl-Smith of Clarksville, Indiana; children, Shawn Mitchell and Melissa Sanchez both of Georgia and Madeline (Christopher Sommers) Smith of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Catia, William, Lucas, Isabella, Andrew, Raegan and Charleston; sister, Leslie Smith of South Carolina; nephew, James Messenger and niece, Ashley McCollum.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret “Peggy” Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Caring Cremation® is being handled by the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, BALTIMORE, OHIO.
