Scott Daniel

Scott Daniel, 50, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.  Scott was a co-owner/project manager of Buckeye Metal Works in Columbus, Ohio. Scott was an avid music lover, enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, had an extensive shoe collection, was born with a great sense of humor, and just a wonderful guy that will be missed terribly by his family and friends.

Kenneth Scott Daniel was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on November 29, 1971.  He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1990 where he played football and track for the Lancaster Gales.  He was one of the lucky ones who made life-long friends in high school which include Jeff Holt, Ron Hanna, and Jeff Craiglow.

Scott is survived by his three children, Connor (19), Chelsea (16), and Parker (13) Daniel.  Scott was in a happy and loving long-term relationship with Julie Kilbarger and is survived by her and her three children, Kyle, Claire, and Andrew Kilbarger.  He is also survived by his parents, Walt and Penny Daniel.  His sister, Samantha and brother-in-law, Rick Sargent and nieces, Riley and Morgan Sargent. His brother, Matt Daniel  and sister-in-law, Ashley Hedges, two nieces, Lainie Daniel and Dallas Hedges and nephew, Austin Hedges.  He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John “Pappy” and Jessie Couch and Perry and Norma Daniel.

Scott was loved by many so please join us in a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4pm-7pm at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus Street in Lancaster.  Caring Cremation™ has taken place.
