Steve Henry Ricketts

On Wednesday November 25th, 2020 Steven Henry Ricketts passed away unexpectedly.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Boyd Samuel Ricketts Sr and Marry Lee (Eaton) Ricketts, as well as his older brother Boyd Samuel Ricketts Jr and older sister Sandra Ricketts (Mason).

Steve was born on August 7th, 1953 in Lancaster, Ohio. He played baseball at Lancaster High School and graduated from there in 1971. After graduation he went to work for Anchor Hocking as a mold maker and retired from there in 2018. On August 19th, 1972 Steve Ricketts married Phyllis Atkinson in Lancaster, Ohio. Steve was an avid hunter and fishermen, being a life long member of the Ohio Coon Hunters Association.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis and children Cathy Ricketts, Christina Ricketts (Poling, spouse of Kevin Poling) and Stephanie Ricketts (Berridge, spouse of Roger Berridge). Along with granddaughters Lily and Sorcha Berridge.
