Thelma Marie Dilliard

Thelma M. Dilliard, age 88 of Lancaster, passed away on Feb. 24, 2023 at Primrose.  She was born in Lancaster to the late Harry and Starlie Jones Yenrick, on April 13, 1934.  She was a past member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and the 6th Ave United Methodist Church. She retired from Big Bear in the meat department. She was a master gardener, a Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the Farm Bureau, and Olivedale.  Thelma greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and was an amazing person who will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Chris) Hardman, Jim (Rita) Westhoven, Chuck (Lanette) Westhoven, Sue Sullivan, Patti (Jeff) Watson, Cheryl (Donnie) Sanders; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul O. Dilliard; son, Jeff Dilliard; son-in-law, Ralph Sullivan, grandsons, Travis Westhoven and Sonny Yingling; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Caring Cremation ™ has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A memorial graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster at 11AM.  Donations can be made in Thelma’s name to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd.
