Ty N. Smith

Ty N. Smith, 40, of Lancaster, passed away on August 27, 2021 at the Fairfield Medical Center. He was born in Lancaster to Melissa Sturgill and Steven Smith on May 27, 1981.

Ty was very sarcastic, and had a crazy sense of humor. He loved animals, Michigan football, and his “action figures”.

He is survived by his mother, Melissa (Don) Sturgill; father, Steve (Lori) Smith; sister, Amy (A.J.) Smith; brother, Adam Smith; best friend, Joy Hall; nephews, Jordan and Logan Moore; and many aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma and Mel Miller.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor William Lavely will take place at 11 AM on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, Canal Winchester. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of services on Friday.
