William "Bill" Finn

William “Bill” Finn 63of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He worked for Perry County, Fairfield County and Franklin County Job and Family Services.  He then retired from the State of Ohio Job and Family Services as an administrator. Bill attended TurnPoint Apostolic Church in Groveport, Ohio and enjoyed cooking, decorating and baking.

Bill is survived by his spouse of 14 years Dusty Gurney; son Travis W. (Tricia) Finn of Lancaster; 15 grandchildren; one great granddaughter with one on the way; former spouse and her husband Brenda Sue and Tim Whiting of Pataskala; brother David Finn of California; sisters June Bericchia of Alliance, Joyce Valenzuela and Ellen Finn both of Phoenix, Arizona and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Helen Finn, sisters Dolly Dixon, Betty Leek, Patricia Starn, Darla Finn  and Mary Dulkoski and brothers Harry, Edgar, Gary and Wayne Finn.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.  Friends may visit Monday from 4-7 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
